Red and blue traffic signs and what they mean

OK! You are now 18, you passed both the theoretical and practical driving test… Now, 20 years later… do you remember the meaning of the traffic signs?

Nature holds all possible colours and man used them. A red border on white advises of danger (dangerous curves, reduced visibility, blocked road); and, also, of a prohibition, such as the STOP or GIVE WAY signs.

Blue means information. It announces petrol stations, restaurants, rest areas or motorway/highway exits.

But beware! A round border on blue with a white pedestrian or bicycle means mandatory lane for them, and a car or a motorbike cannot invade it.
