Wi-Fi or Guay-Fi

Hackers are on the lookout and every time an unsuspecting person connects to a public Wi-Fi, they will try to steal from them and infect them with some kind of malware. How can you protect yourself?

  • Read the name of the network and ask if it is correct.
  • Navigate with your mobile phone and, when you finish, delete the connection network and close the session where you have logged in. Turn off your Wi-Fi.
  • Deactivate data sharing and access only secure pages (with a lock or that start with https).

If you can, use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). There are subscription and free ones, although these are not always as secure as they should be, so it is better to make sure which application you decide to download and inform yourself well beforehand. Your connection will be encrypted, that is, totally protected.
